Antioch Dental Group is a patient-centered dental practice dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a friendly and collaborative environment. We’re expanding our team and seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist who is passionate about oral health and building lasting relationships with patients. The Dental Hygienist plays a vital role in our practice by providing preventive and periodontal care, educating patients on proper oral hygiene, and working closely with dentists to support overall treatment planning. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, professional, and genuinely enjoys helping others.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling/root planing
- Take and interpret digital radiographs
- Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal assessments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting
- Ensure infection control and sterilization protocols are followed
- Collaborate with dentists and team members to provide exceptional patient care
- Help create a positive, comfortable experience for every patient
Required Qualifications
- Active state Dental Hygienist license
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and patient-education skills
- Knowledge of dental hygiene best practices and current standards of care
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
