Type: (Hybrid 3 Days On-site at 1NYP, 2 Days Remote)
Duration: 3+ Months
Pay Range: $33.00 to $37.78 Hourly
Job Summary:
ASK Consulting is seeking a Market Regulations & Outreach Analyst to join a leading financial services client in New York. This role focuses on supporting U.S. regulatory outreach programs associated with CFTC, ISDA, FINRA, SEC, and Dodd-Frank. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the U.S. banking environment, experience in financial operations or regulatory compliance, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing client scoping for U.S. Regulatory Outreach programs related to CFTC, ISDA, FINRA, SEC, and Dodd-Frank.
- Ensure compliance with applicable banking rules and regulations to mitigate organizational risk.
- Work cross-functionally with Compliance, Business Units, and global colleagues to ensure timely and accurate delivery of regulatory obligations.
- Support data collection, analysis, and reporting of key metrics and KRIs to senior management.
- Research and interpret regulatory updates, including U.S. Privacy regulations and SIPC Act requirements.
- Manage workload efficiently to handle high-volume tasks, ad-hoc projects, and time-sensitive business demands.
- Escalate potential risks or compliance issues promptly to supervisors.
- Foster strong collaboration and communication across local and remote teams.
- Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and documentation.
Required Skills:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in U.S. banking, financial operations, or regulatory/compliance roles.
- Bachelors degree required.
- Strong understanding of U.S. financial regulations (Dodd-Frank, FINRA, SEC, CFTC).
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver under pressure.
- High attention to detail with a proactive and accountable mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience supporting U.S. regulatory reporting or outreach programs.
- Experience in financial services operations, compliance, or risk management.
- Knowledge of privacy regulations and the SIPC Act.
