Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A respiratory therapist position is available on a contract basis in Carbondale, CO, serving a well-regarded health facility. This role focuses on providing comprehensive respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including outpatient testing such as Stress Tests, Pulmonary Function, and EEG testing. Candidates should bring a strong background in respiratory therapy and relevant certifications to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Unrestricted Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in Colorado or ability to obtain prior to start.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; can be obtained upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP).
  • Minimum of 2 years RT experience with a diverse patient population.
  • Experience with outpatient Stress Tests, Pulmonary Function, and EEG testing.
  • Preferred: Experience with high-risk deliveries and neonates.
  • Preferred: NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • Preferred: Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
  • Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform respiratory care assessments and treatments across various patient demographics.
  • Conduct outpatient diagnostic testing, including Stress Tests, Pulmonary Function tests, and EEGs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient respiratory health.
  • Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
