NHK Seating of America, Inc. is owned by NHK Spring of Japan. The Frankfort plant supports an Automotive company in Lafayette. We supply the seats in a fast-paced, Just-In-Time environment. A finished seat can come off our line about every minute. The work is very repetitive and physically demanding. Our production requirements are directly linked to our customer, as customer demand increases and decreases on a daily basis so does NHK Seat production requirements.

Plant 1

Position: 2nd Shift Materials / Manufacturing Associate

Pay Wage: $19.79 to $24.16/hour+ $1 premium

Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday plus some mandatory Saturdays

4:30PM - completion (up to 12 hours)

*Must have flexible schedule. Daily overtime may be required.

Plant 2

Position: 2nd Shift Materials / Manufacturing Associate

Pay Wage: $19.07 to $23. 39 /hour+ $1 premium

Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday plus some mandatory Saturdays

6:00PM - completion (up to 12 hours)

*Must have flexible schedule. Daily overtime may be required.

Requirements and Physical Abilities

• Physical Ability to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements.
• Physical Ability to lift, carry, and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk or stand up to 12 hours
• Ability to rotate to different workstations as production needs require
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Ability to manage multiple functions at one time and rotate to different work stations as production needs require
• Willingness to train on mobile equipment such as forklift, stand up, etc. and use a pallet jack
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
