Shift: Nights (Rotating Weekends)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Trauma Operating Room Nurse to join a premier 417-bed facility in West Miami-Dade County. As a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center and a verified Burn Center, the hospital manages some of the region’s most complex cases. Compensation & Shift Details

Hourly Rate: $39.57 – $53.34 (commensurate with experience)

Sign-On Bonus: Evaluated on a case-by-case basis

Schedule: Full-Time Nights with rotating weekends

Location Requirement: Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility to meet on-call response requirements
Key Responsibilities

Provide expert intraoperative nursing care for trauma, burn, and emergency surgical cases

Maintain readiness for Level I trauma activations, ensuring all equipment and instrumentation are prepared for immediate use

Advocate for patients during surgery, coordinating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the interdisciplinary trauma team

Adhere to strict policies and procedures while managing the sterile environment and surgical counts
Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2 years of Trauma OR experience in an acute care setting; general OR experience without trauma/acute care focus will not be considered

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Licensure: Current Florida RN License or recognized Compact Licensure

Certifications:

BLS (AHA) – required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire

ACLS (AHA) – required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire
