In this role, you will apply the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care. You will be professionally accountable for the care provided to your assigned patients and will assess the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers. Collaboration with various departments to coordinate patient care is essential. Upholding patient rights and ensuring the confidentiality of patient information are key responsibilities. Position Details:

Title: Medical Surgical Supervisor

Location: Our facility located at 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours per week

Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Qualifications

Education: Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program with one of the following:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Nursing Diploma
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure: A current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri is required, or a compact license in accordance with state nursing board regulations.

Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting is necessary.

Certifications:

  • Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: A BSN is preferred.
  • Licensure: Additional state licenses or specialty certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience: Previous management experience, particularly in change management, is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Capability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
  • Proficiency in gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting as necessary for nursing tasks.
