Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, onsite Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Alabaster, AL, serving K-12 students within a school setting. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Alabama Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working as an SLP in school-based settings
- Ability to develop and implement individualized interventions for diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create effective communication plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support student success and compliance with state regulations
