Key Responsibilities:
PROJECT LEADERSHIP:
- Effectively lead on-site crews on residential and commercial remodeling projects
- Accurately estimate efforts for job tasks
- Manage project timelines to ensure on-time and on-budget job completion
- Accurately manage job materials
- Consistently meet quality standards and deliver exceptional customer experience
- Effectively communicate project updates to clients, office staff and management team
- Ensure clean, organized and safe job-sites, company vehicles, and workshop
TECHNICAL EXECUTION:
Perform hands-on tasks such as:
- Complete carpentry, framing, and finish work
- Install flooring, tile, cabinets, doors, and trim
- Perform light electrical, plumbing, drywall, and painting jobs
- Handle exterior repairs including decks, fences, siding, and posts
- Lead full bathroom, kitchen, and basement remodels
TEAM DEVELOPMENT:
- Cross-train on new technical skills
- Help, coach and mentor other team members
- Represent House Doctors professionally
- Participate in ongoing career development
Requirements:
- 7 to 10+ years residential construction/remodeling experience
- Multi-trade expertise in some of the following (carpentry, drywall, flooring, tile,
- painting, light electrical/plumbing, siding, full remodel projects, commercial build-out)
- Proven leadership and project management abilities
- Track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, with top quality
- Professional attitude and excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to learn and operate some basic computer programs and systems
- Learn and operate some basic computer programs and systems
- Follow company processes and procedures
- Perform physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), work on ladders and handling tools Valid driver's license is required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
