Job Description
We are looking for a committed Physical Therapist to join our growing practice who will improve the patient’s quality of life and movement through prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Performs patient assessment, treatment, discharge planning and collaboration with other health care providers</li>
<li>Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs</li>
<li>Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery</li>
<li>Delegates aspects of patient care to support staff per PT/PTA MI Licensure Administrative Rules providing necessary communication and supervision</li>
<li>Documents patient care and billing information timely and in accordance with department standards.</li>
<li>Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs</li>
<li>Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally</li>
</ul>
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
<ul>
<li>Physical Therapist bachelor degree OR Master's/Doctorate degree acquired from a Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy program.</li>
<li>Current state of Michigan license certification</li>
<li>Current knowledge of treatment practices</li>
</ul>
