RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

\n

• Work four 10-hour shifts per week with rotating on-call requirements including weekends and holidays
\n• Shift times: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM and/or 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM with rotating on-call coverage
\n• Patient ratio of 1:6
\n• Handle 12-18 cases per day in a high-volume, high-acuity cardiac catheterization lab
\n• Work in 3 newly renovated labs performing 4-7 cases per lab daily
\n• Circulate and monitor procedures including STEMI call coverage
\n• Float within scope to medical assignments and ED for medical holds as needed
\n• Every other weekend requirement with 1 weekend and 5-6 weekdays on-call per 4-week period
\n• 40 hours of orientation required
\n• Complete up to 8 hours of non-billable modules within 1 week of signing
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• VA or compact state nursing license required
\n• Minimum 1 year cardiac or critical care experience required
\n• Experience in cardiac cath and/or interventional radiology preferred
\n• EPIC documentation system experience preferred
\n• Scrubs provided
\n• Procedures include TAVRS, Watchman, CardiomMEMS, carotids, Impella, CTO, peripherals, TEVARS/EVARS
\n• Work with Philips rooms, Medrad and manifold for injections, XPER documentation
