Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid, active Pennsylvania SLP licensure required (PDE standards)
  • Must hold CCCs—no CFs or SLPAs considered
  • Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable serving students with moderate to severe needs and behaviors
  • Ability to attend all scheduled days, participate in June training/orientation sessions, and complete the full ESY schedule
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute within 35 minutes of assigned site
  • Meets all PA DOE credentialing requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to assigned caseload, adapting approaches for a range of student abilities
  • Participate in training and orientation (late June), then provide services through July
  • Collaborate with teaching teams and related services on site
  • Contribute to individualized goal-setting, progress tracking, and documentation
  • Adapt to potential changes in classroom grade or site assignment as needed
