Facility in Hot Springs, AR seeking EM locums coverage

Rates: $325/hr

Opportunity Highlights

• Start Date: May 1, 2026.
  

• Duration: 12-month initial contract.
  

• Total Shifts: 30 shifts per month available across the group (Avg. 130 hours/month per FTE).
  

• Shift Times: * Day/Evening: 6a–3p, 8a–6p, 10a–10p, 2p–12a.
  

• Night: 6p–4a, 10p–6a.
  

• Patient Volume: 1.8 patients per hour.
  

• Support: Comprehensive subspecialty backup including Neurosurgery, Cath Lab, Neurology, and Trauma-trained nursing staff.
  

• EMR: EPIC with Dragon dictation.
  

Clinical Responsibilities & Procedures

Physicians operate in a collaborative team environment, managing high-acuity traumatic and cardiac emergencies.

Core Procedures:

• Critical Care: Intubations, central line placement, and chest tube insertion.
  

• Cardiac: EKG interpretation and cardioversions.
  

• Trauma/Injury: Reductions, moderate sedation, and complex laceration repair.
  

Provider Requirements

• Board Status: Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Emergency Medicine (Required).
  

• Licensure: Active Arkansas (AR) Medical License in hand (Required).
  

• Certifications: Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA (Required).
  

• Background: Clean malpractice history only.
  

• Documentation: A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation is mandatory.
