Job Requirements

Active CHHA or CNA license (required)

Bilingual English/Spanish (required)

Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (required)

Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level

Must be 18 years or older

Valid Social Security Number

Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
-
Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
-
Must pass a Level 2 background check
-
Must complete required health screenings
-
Must follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Senior Helpers Employee Handbook and Training Manual
Job Responsibilities
-
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
-
Transferring and positioning clients safely
-
Observing and reporting changes in physical or mental condition
-
Companionship and conversation
-
Light housekeeping and meal preparation
-
Document daily activities in the Care Plan Book (if applicable)
-
Record hours and services on Weekly Time Sheet and Service Log; submit every Monday by 5:00 PM
-
Report significant client changes to the office immediately

Other duties as assigned by management
