Instructional Aide Subs Needed School-Based | Flexible Opportunities
Location: Shasta Lake, CA | Per Diem
This per diem position offers flexible work opportunities to support students in a structured school environment. Instructional Aides provide essential 1:1 or small-group academic, behavioral, and social support under the guidance of teachers and school staff. Position Responsibilities
- Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings
- Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
- Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
- Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as applicable
- Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Current TB test or willingness to obtain as per district requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
- Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Training such as CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus (not required)
- Reliable, patient, and team-oriented mindset

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
