Position requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision, and eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
A one-year contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist pleting their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in a K-12 school setting located in Wayne, MI. This position provides essential support to students with speech and language needs, allowing you to gain valuable experience while pleting your certification requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must be pleting Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in speech-language pathology
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills
- Experience or coursework related to pediatric speech-language pathology preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative school environment
