Key Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely operate front-end loaders to move, load, and transport materials such as soil, gravel, and debris in construction, mining, or agricultural environments CareerPlanner+1.
- Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of the loader, including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning the equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance himalayas.app+1.
- Material Handling: Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas, ensuring proper handling and organization of materials on-site interviewguy.com.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery, maintaining a clean and safe work environment himalayas.app+1.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of daily operations, including hours of operation and any maintenance performed on the equipment
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to understand project specifications and requirements, ensuring efficient material handling and workflow
- Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, and adjustments; replace worn parts; repair hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and electrical components
- Preventive Care: Perform scheduled maintenance to extend equipment life and prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical or hydraulic issues quickly to minimize downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and company procedures when working on equipment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain logs of maintenance, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Team Support: Assist operators with minor adjustments or repairs when needed.
- Training: Mentor or train new mechanics on proper equipment handling and maintenance techniques
