Job DescriptionPosition Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and drivenProject Engineer with a strong background in Multifamily and Mixed-Use construction to join our growing team. This role supports all phases of construction, working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure successful execution of urban residential and commercial development projects.

Ideal candidates will have a solid foundation in construction project documentation, subcontractor coordination, and the technical aspects of large-scale, ground-up or podium-style multifamily projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing, reviewing, and tracking RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement logs.

  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure timely communication and issue resolution.

  • Help manage project schedules and keep construction milestones on track.

  • Support site logistics planning, including materials deliveries and sequencing.

  • Maintain accurate project records, drawings, and documentation using software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.

  • Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, and contract compliance.

  • Attend project meetings and generate minutes, action items, and follow-ups.

  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.

  • Contribute to project closeout efforts including punch list coordination, warranty documentation, and as-built drawings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (required)

  • 2–5 years of experience supporting construction projects, preferably in multifamily or mixed-use development

  • Familiarity with building systems including structural, MEP, fire/life safety, and envelope systems

  • Proficient with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, etc.)

  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, architectural/engineering plans, and specifications

  • Experience working on Type I, III, or V construction projects (podium, wrap, or high-density residential preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • LEED knowledge or experience in sustainable construction

  • OSHA 30 Certification (or ability to obtain)

  • BIM/VDC familiarity or interest in emerging construction technologies

  • Exposure to entitlements, permitting, or preconstruction a plus
