Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A family-owned grocery chain in North Salt Lake, Utah is seeking a dependable, experienced Pharmacy Manager who can confidently step in and lead daily pharmacy operations. This role requires a strong, reliable leader with a background in chain retail and the ability to manage a high-volume munity pharmacy with professionalism and efficiency.
Location: North Salt Lake, UT
Type: 13-Week Contract-to-Perm
Start Date: Beginning of December
Schedule: 1st Shift Three 12-hour shifts (9:00am9:00pm)
Weekend Rotation: To be confirmed
Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all pharmacy operations while performing full pharmacist duties

Supervise, coach, and schedule pharmacists, technicians, and interns

Ensure pliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and controlled substance requirements

Maintain accurate logs, documentation, and records for audits and inspections

Oversee inventory management, ordering, returns, stock rotation, and controlled drug monitoring

Accurately review and fill prescriptions following legal and ethical guidelines

Counsel patients on medication use, interactions, and potential side effects

Maintain precise prescription, controlled substance, and patient profile records

municate with prescribers to clarify and verify prescriptions

Stay updated on new therapies, medications, and best practices

Deliver excellent customer service in a professional and supportive manner

Participate in clinical and munity wellness programs (immunizations, MTM, screenings, etc.)
Requirements

Clear and active Utah Pharmacist license

Minimum 2 years of recent Pharmacy Management experience

fortable operating in a high-volume munity/retail environment

McKesson software experience preferred
