An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 educational setting. Located in the picturesque area of Mendocino, CA, this role focuses on providing comprehensive communication assessments and interventions for the upcoming school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credential
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all students
Location:
- Mendocino, CA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders
- Provide direct therapy services to students and monitor their progress
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding students speech and language development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
