The Trim Carpenter will play a critical role in residential home construction and renovation projects, working within small teams of 2-5 members. This position involves precise measuring, cutting, installation, and finishing of trim elements using a range of tools, including hand and power tools, specialized woodworking machinery, laser measuring devices, pneumatic finish nail guns, miter saws, and table saws. Frequent travel between multiple job sites is required, offering opportunities for growth into cabinetry specialization or advancement to Lead Carpenter roles.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut materials accurately for trim installation
- Install trim components in residential and renovation settings
- Apply finishing techniques to ensure quality craftsmanship
- Handle and maintain construction materials and tools
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work sites
- Operate standard and specialized woodworking tools
- Travel frequently to various project sites as required
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of carpentry experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Proficient in carpentry and blueprint reading
- Skilled in use of hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina for demanding tasks
