Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Endoscopy RN/Tech to join our clinical team. This position plays a crucial role in providing exceptional care in our Endoscopy and Bronchoscopy department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in endoscopy procedures and demonstrate a commitment to high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing endoscopic and bronchoscopy procedures in a busy clinical setting.
- Maintain a high standard of patient care and ensure a safe and sterile environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient outcomes.
- Manage the care of adult patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the procedure.
- Respond to on-call cases, which may include GI bleeds, foreign body removals, and Bronchoscopy EBUS navigation.
- Assist with routine procedures and participate in call coverage approximately 10 days monthly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an Endoscopy tech position; RN applicants should have prior tech experience rather than exclusively circulating.
- Must possess a valid RN license or Surgical Tech certification.
- No specific certifications required; however, relevant specialized training is a plus.
- Familiarity with Olympus equipment and Cerner EHR is preferred.
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 3 (2 Endoscopy rooms, 1 Bronchoscopy room)
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Dress Code: Navy Blue scrubs; scrub machine available on-site.
