Fraser is seeking a Psychologist Manager to lead our team of psychologists and oversee the testing and treatment services they provide. In this role, you will collaborate with the Neuropsychology Director, Psychiatry/Medical Director, and Initial Access Program Director to ensure consistent assessment and treatment protocols. You will supervise case reviews, provide consultation, and mentor psychologists, post-doctoral residents, doctoral interns, and practicum students. Additionally, you will provide individual, family, and group mental health therapy for Fraser clients and work with teams to develop assessment models that align with CCBHC standards and Fraser Team Care.

Job duties:

Program Oversight

  • Provides program oversight and the development for Psychological Testing Services.
  • Collaborates with leadership also administering mental health assessments to ensure alignment and client experience (Neuropsychological Services, Initial Access Program, Psychiatry Services).
  • Evaluates current service offerings to support access and ensures clinical quality in alignment with best practices and CCBHC models.
  • Supports, collaborates, coordinates and/or delivers training and mentorship to relevant staff and trainees in order to enhance quality of services provided.
  • Manages compliance issues regarding documentation and training required.
  • Evaluates and makes fiscal recommendations along with Chief Clinical Officer.

Program Management:

  • Collaborates with HR in the hiring process when psychologists are needed.
  • Supports onboarding of new staff to support success on the Fraser psychologist team.
  • Works with program staff to ensure weekly and annual productivity is met in order to meet or exceed annual budget.
  • Works with client access teams to problem solve and support schedules that will help psychologists achieve productivity expectations.
  • Serves on internal and external committees that may benefit children with mental health needs and their families as requested. Ongoing involvement in community outreach activities, bringing a perspective of assessment and ways to support access.
  • Participates in the development of new programs or services related to the mission of Fraser’s CCBHC supporting access and Team Care.

Clinical Supervision

  • Provides clinical supervision to relevant staff in an ethical manner.
  • Provides task supervision, leadership, and support to staff as assigned.
  • Coordinates with site managers regarding psychological services at their clinics.
  • Directs daily activities in the assigned program(s), including clinical supervision, coaching and mentoring around assessment activities.

Clinical Duties

  • Provides assessments as needed to Fraser Mental Health clientele.
  • Models and participates in Fraser Team Care collaborating with cross disciplinary team members for optimal client care.
  • Maintains medical records in a timely and accurate manner including session notes, billing sheets, incident reports, diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations.

Requirements:

  • Current Licensed Psychologist in the State of MN required.
  • Valid Minnesota Driver’s License with acceptable record required.
  • At least five years of experience testing individuals and children with severe emotional and behavioral disorders and their families required.
  • Experience providing individual, family and group therapy required.
  • Clinical supervision experience required, and supervision at all levels of training preferred.
  • Management of program services preferred.

Location, Schedule & Pay:

  • Monday - Friday standard business hours
  • The starting pay for this role is $105,000 - $115,000 annually depending on qualifications
