Quality Control Analyst

Accurate Group is seeking an experienced Licensed Quality Control Analyst in the MORTGAGE INDUSTRY. The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for conducting quality control reviews of appraisal reports used by seller/servicers to support lending decisions and to meet Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). Effectively coordinate and manage identified quality issues as well as issues brought forth by the client.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of all Agency guidelines and USPAP.
  • Ability to work with others in an integrated way to achieve individual objectives as well as organizational goals.
  • Must have excellent analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work under time constraints, good interpersonal skills and high degree of initiative.
  • Monitors the quality of appraisals and ensures compliance to company guidelines, client requirements and industry standards and escalates any discrepancies to management for them to review.
  • Work with appraisers with technical and procedural issues and telephone support as needed
  • Review the overall work product generated by our contract appraisers for accuracy and communicate with Management when the work is not compliant to company requirements
  • Communicate with appraisers on general appraisal principals and procedures as well as the use of the ValueNet program and processes through training guides created by management
  • Interface with customer service department in regard to client updates and delays as well as any other valuation/appraisal related tasks as needed

Successful candidates will have the following proven skills:

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Current Real Estate Appraiser Certification is required.
  • Proficient in Technology to complete the daily tasks.
  • Effective communicator using Outlook email, Teams, cell phone, etc.
  • Experience using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Self- motivated and ability to work remote.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Work 8 hours per day/5 days per week.

Job Type: Full-time/Remote

Salary: From $55,000.00 per year

Schedule: Monday -Friday (8-hour shifts with flexible schedule)


Experience:

  • Real estate appraisal: 1-2 years (Preferred)
  • Experience completing appraisal reviews (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Appraiser License (Required)
