South College Asheville is seeking a Radiology Adjunct Instructor to join the Radiology Department. This position is on-ground at the Asheville Campus in Asheville, NC. Clinical supervision may be required at area clinical affiliates.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop appropriate academic lectures and/or labs, as well as learning experiences that allow students to achieve course learning objectives
- Facilitate effective learning and critical thinking during clinical rotations while fostering a positive learning environment
- Validate student competency in the clinical and lab environment
- Ensure that all academic program requirements and forms of documentation are completed as required for each student and submitted per established deadlines
- Provide appropriate and timely feedback to students
- Be reasonably accessible to students for questions and assistance
- Be willing to assist with visiting students in a clinical setting as needed
Requirements:
Education
- Must possess a minimum of an associates degree in radiography
- Bachelors degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in radiography
- Hold current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography
- Prior experience with supervision of students in clinical or didactic settings preferred
