Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Lees Summit, MO is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support student success through comprehensive psychological services. This role offers the opportunity to apply expertise in assessment, intervention, and consultation within a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Delivering professional development and training to school staff
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing expert recommendations
- Traveling between school sites to provide services as required
Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychoeducational testing and data interpretation
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and work both independently and collaboratively
Location:Position is based in Lees Summit, Missouri, with travel between local school sites necessary.
