Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at an outpatient surgery center in Maryland, requiring 2 years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Day shift position, 8 hours, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 40 hours per week, 13-week contract
- Every 3rd week includes a late week rotation
- Outpatient surgical setting with 5 ORs and 4 procedure rooms
- Adult and pediatric patient population
- Multiple service lines including Orthopedics, EP, Urology, Plastics, ENT, Facial Plastics, Cataracts, Pain, and Breast Oncology
- No on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements
- Free parking available on site
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Team includes 2 lead clinical OR RNs and 1 OR charge RN, supported by a resource team of 2–3 RNs and 2–3 surgical techs
- Staffing levels flex based on case volume
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
