What You’ll Be Doing

Receive and inspect incoming shipments and report any discrepancies
Use pallet jacks or hand trucks to stage and move product (forklift certification a plus!)
Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders—every order should feel like a gift
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Help with seasonal inventory, restocks, and product transitions
Process customer returns accurately and efficiently
Operate warehouse tools and systems (we’ll train you!)
Work collaboratively with your teammates to meet daily goals
Communicate clearly and respectfully with the broader Modern Prairie team

Preferred Experience & Qualities

Prior experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or retail setting (preferred but not required)
Strong attention to detail—if you love doing things right, you’ll do great here
Comfortable using inventory systems or open to learning
Reliable, punctual, and able to work the schedule agreed upon
Able to lift up to 40–50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
A team player who believes in kindness, accountability, and being helpful
Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to get certified)

Work Environment

This job is in an indoor warehouse setting
You'll use safety equipment like gloves and protective shoes
Expect to move around frequently and work with a variety of materials
The environment can include varying temps, noise, and dust depending on the season
