Job Description
Assembly of seating systems and components using standard operating procedures. Exceeding customer increasing expectations by providing high quality products and services. Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
- Must be willing and available to work scheduled shift.
- Must be willing and available to work full time and overtime as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to push-pull, perform repetitive lifting/actions, and continuous bending.
- Occasional walking, significant dexterity/fine finger movements for extended periods.
- Ability to follow detailed verbal or written assembly instructions.
- Perform installation and/or installation support for seating products.
- Recognize and follow proper quality protocol and standards.
- Perform quality control tests. Stop production if defective or unsafe parts/conditions appear.
- Complete assignments and tasks in a timely rotational manner.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Maintain a 5-S environment; Separate & Scrap, Sort, Scrub, Standardize, and Systematize.
- Maintaining a safe and productive work setting.
- Comply with Personal Protective Equipment requirements, safety glasses, gloves, and earplugs. All provided by Setex.
- Perform all other tasks assigned by Team Leader and/or Production Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but not necessary.
- Must be able to perform each essential duties listed above satisfactorily.
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools that may include power hand drills, screw guns, and hog ring gun.
- Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures (SOP) and documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
- Ability to display skills in manufacturing processes, including operating and maintaining equipment.
- Demonstrate and maintain respectful behavior.
