Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Kansas City, MO, providing therapy services within a school setting. This role focuses on delivering direct speech therapy to students, primarily within an early childhood caseload. Candidates with SLP certifications including CCC or School certification are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech therapy to a full caseload of 50-60 students
- Delivering therapy services without conducting evaluations, emphasizing therapeutic interventions
- Collaborating with the school team to address student communication needs
- Supporting early childhood students, with flexibility in caseload allocation as team dynamics allow
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), preferably with CCC or School credentials
- Experience working in early childhood speech therapy is highly valued
- Ability to manage a caseload of 50-60 students providing direct therapy sessions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within the educational environment

Work schedule:
- Approximately 35 hours per week
- Contract duration from ASAP through May 29, 2026
