Job Description

Job DescriptionJoin Our Team as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

We are currently looking for dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to join our team in Montana.

Note: Clinicians must hold a valid license and reside in the state where they will be providing services.

Compensation

This position operates on a Fee for Service (W2) basis, with an annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $94,000, depending on a commitment of 15-20 clinical hours each week.

Clinical Practices

To ensure the safety and well-being of both our clinicians and clients during telemedicine sessions, we do not promote or incentivize the use of stimulant medications. Instead, these medications are available based on the specific symptoms and diagnoses of clients, with prescribing decisions made at the clinician's discretion. We do not currently address substance use disorders and will refer clients to in-person providers for severe symptoms that cannot be managed through telemedicine alone.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients in a telemedicine setting.
  • Be open to treating clients aged 14 and older.
  • Prescribe medications as necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop personalized care plans.
  • Complete and manage relevant paperwork and assessment tools for clients.
  • Follow our organization's Clinical Practice Guidelines.
  • Engage with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across various locations.

Qualifications

  • Must be a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Board Certification.
  • A Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state is required.
  • Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous.
  • While three years of experience is preferred, a minimum of one year in psychiatric practice is mandatory.
  • Clinicians must be licensed and reside in the state where they will practice.
  • Part-time roles require availability for 15-20 hours per week.
  • All clinicians must complete in-house training on our ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach, followed by a brief examination. New hires will be enrolled in the ADHD Clinic and are expected to treat ADHD clients, but there are no quotas for client numbers or prescriptions.

What We Offer

We prioritize the well-being of our employees, empowering them to excel in their roles, which in turn allows them to provide exceptional care to our clients. Our benefits include:

  • Fully remote work environment.
  • Support from remote Medical Assistants.
  • Guaranteed bi-weekly pay, eliminating the need for reimbursement waits.
  • 401K plan with a 3% employer match.
  • Paid orientation and annual salary increases.
  • Flexible scheduling options (available sessions from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week).
  • Coverage for orientation, credentialing, and malpractice insurance, along with in-house professional development opportunities, including case consultation groups.
