About This Opportunity
Our virtual school psychology services focus on creating prehensive support systems for students navigating their educational journey in online environments. As a remote school psychologist, you'll utilize cutting-edge telepractice technology to deliver evidence-based interventions, conduct assessments, and collaborate with educational teams to optimize student outes.
Weekly Schedule: 35-37.5 hours Student Caseload: 45-55 students across multiple virtual school environments Grade Range: K-12 with emphasis on elementary and middle school levels Service Model: Telepractice delivery through secure educational platforms
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct prehensive psychological and educational assessments using virtual testing protocols
- Provide individual and group counseling services through secure teletherapy platforms
- Develop and implement behavioral intervention plans for students in virtual learning environments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to special education evaluation processes
- Deliver crisis intervention services and mental health support as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation of services and student progress in pliance with state regulations
Required Qualifications
- State Licensure: Active school psychologist license in Michigan
- Educational Background: Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
- School Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in educational settings
- Telepractice Skills: Proficiency with virtual assessment tools and teletherapy platforms
- Professional Standards: Strong understanding of ethical guidelines for virtual service delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in School Psychology (Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D.)
- Experience with virtual psychological assessments and remote service delivery
- Certification in evidence-based interventions for anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns
