About This Opportunity

Our virtual school psychology services focus on creating prehensive support systems for students navigating their educational journey in online environments. As a remote school psychologist, you'll utilize cutting-edge telepractice technology to deliver evidence-based interventions, conduct assessments, and collaborate with educational teams to optimize student outes.

Weekly Schedule: 35-37.5 hours Student Caseload: 45-55 students across multiple virtual school environments Grade Range: K-12 with emphasis on elementary and middle school levels Service Model: Telepractice delivery through secure educational platforms

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct prehensive psychological and educational assessments using virtual testing protocols
  • Provide individual and group counseling services through secure teletherapy platforms
  • Develop and implement behavioral intervention plans for students in virtual learning environments
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to special education evaluation processes
  • Deliver crisis intervention services and mental health support as needed
  • Maintain detailed documentation of services and student progress in pliance with state regulations

Required Qualifications

  • State Licensure: Active school psychologist license in Michigan
  • Educational Background: Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
  • School Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in educational settings
  • Telepractice Skills: Proficiency with virtual assessment tools and teletherapy platforms
  • Professional Standards: Strong understanding of ethical guidelines for virtual service delivery

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in School Psychology (Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D.)
  • Experience with virtual psychological assessments and remote service delivery
  • Certification in evidence-based interventions for anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns
  • Background in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
  • Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse student populations
