Oral surgery office seeking an outstanding, friendly, articulate, hard working surgical assistant to complete our surgical team. The position is for a full time employee desiring 36-40 hours a week. Preference will be given to candidates with a dental assistant certificate or for candidates with experience in oral surgery. Salary will be dependent on experience and degrees of applicant.

Responsibilities
- Assist oral surgeons during procedures by providing chairside assistance and maintaining aseptic techniques.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to support in patient care.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Proficiently handle EMR systems and software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for patient records and scheduling.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Perform X-Ray procedures and assist in dental imaging as needed.
- Manage dental reception duties including patient check-in, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries.
- Monitor vital signs and assist in patient assessment during oral surgeries.
- Document medical information accurately for medical records and coding purposes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care, especially in pediatric cases.
