We are excited to invite applications for a full-time faculty position within the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology in our Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This role presents a remarkable opportunity to engage in a dynamic academic environment, offering a comprehensive range of clinical, surgical, and educational resources.
About the Department
Our department is a full-service tertiary care facility that includes:
- 30 dedicated physicians, both part-time and full-time
- 10 advanced practice providers
- 2 full-time genetic counselors
- 24 residents and 6 fellows
- Over 2,500 deliveries annually
- More than 18,000 outpatient clinic visits each year
- Over 2,000 general surgical cases and 250+ family planning procedures annually
Our patient demographic encompasses complex maternal and fetal co-morbidities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver general obstetrical and gynecological care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Participate in hospital and home call coverage
- Engage in the education of medical students and residents
- Explore opportunities for clinical research
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution
- Current eligibility for or possession of a medical license in New York State
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Strong clinical abilities with a focus on patient-centered care
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to academic medicine
