Maria Bonita Restaurant & Bar is a growing Mexican restaurant seeking a hands-on Restaurant Manager who will play a key role in building structure, implementing systems, and helping establish strong day-to-day operations. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys creating organization and improving how a restaurant runs.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations (FOH + BOH)
- Create and implement structure, systems, and workflows for the restaurant
- Develop and enforce processes for staff, service, and operations
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance
- Ensure excellent customer service and guest experience
- Handle inventory, ordering, and vendor communication
- Maintain cleanliness, compliance, and food safety standards
- Assist with administrative tasks and reporting
- Manage opening and closing procedures
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of restaurant or bar management experience
- Experience building or improving operational systems strongly preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to take initiative and create structure where needed
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Must be comfortable overseeing pull-tab operations and compliance
- Experience with pull-tabs (charitable gambling) strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Minnesota regulations is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
