Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist in Illinois
  • Experience with comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
  • Familiarity with MTSS, IEP processes, and Section 504 plans
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage caseloads across multiple schools or district departments
  • Prior experience in school-based psychological services is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ academic and behavioral needs
  • Interpret data and provide recommendations for individualized interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Support the implementation of district-wide academic and behavioral programs
  • Contribute expertise to school-wide mental health initiatives and prevention programming
  • Serve as a resource for colleagues regarding best practices in student support
