Responsibilities:
• Perform account reconciliations, including bank accounts, balance sheets, and daily financial transactions.
• Manage fixed and capital assets by tracking, recording, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Analyze and resolve account discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Utilize systems like Open Invoice and Ariba for efficient invoice management.
• Assist in preparing corporate and sales tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Monitor and improve accounting procedures to optimize operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to address financial queries and reporting needs.• Proven experience in fixed assets management and account reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of corporate and sales tax processes.
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as Open Invoice and Ariba.
• Ability to work with general ledger and prepare accurate journal entries.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
