Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation:

Local Rate: $3,000 per week

Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Educator for a dynamic day-shift assignment in Brooklyn, NY. This role is ideal for a clinical leader with strong Med/Surg and Labor & Delivery expertise who is passionate about educating, mentoring, and developing nursing staff. The Nurse Educator will play a key role in advancing clinical excellence, competency development, and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver nursing education programs with an emphasis on Med/Surg and Labor & Delivery best practices

Assess clinical competencies and provide hands-on training and mentorship to nursing staff

Support quality improvement initiatives through evidence-based education and training

Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to ensure compliance with nursing standards and protocols

Maintain accurate documentation related to education, competencies, and training outcomes
Required Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program

Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience (required)

Strong clinical knowledge and teaching aptitude

Active New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification (NYSED)

AHA BLS certification (required)
