Job DescriptionLHH has an immediate opening for an accounts payable position with one of our clients. This full-time, on-site position requires presence from Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional accounting skills and comprehensive knowledge of accounts payable processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and process invoices for accuracy and authorization.
- Enter invoices into the accounting system with correct codes.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Process vendor payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain organized accounts payable records.
- Provide customer service for payment inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour
