Job Description

Job DescriptionBenefits/Perks

  • Competitive Compensation
  • Paid Time Off
  • Career Growth Opportunities

We’re looking for a Graphic Design & Production Assistant who can support our fast-paced print shop. This is a hybrid role—you’ll assist with design work and help run production equipment.

About the Role

In today’s market, most customers submit print-ready artwork (thanks to Canva, AI, and online tools). This role is less about designing from scratch and more about:

  • Preparing, adjusting, and verifying files for production
  • Working closely with our design and production team
  • Keeping jobs moving quickly and accurately

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Use Canva, Adobe tools, or similar software to adjust and prep artwork
  • Check files for print accuracy (size, resolution, placement, colors)
  • Assist with DTF printing, digital press operation, and heat pressing
  • Help with bindery work (cutting, folding, finishing jobs)
  • Support the team to ensure jobs are completed on time and correctly
  • Maintain organization of job tickets and workflow

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with Canva or basic graphic design software
  • Comfortable working in a production environment (not just behind a computer)
  • Detail-oriented (this is critical—mistakes cost time and money)
  • Able to multitask and keep up in a fast-paced shop
  • Willing to learn equipment (DTF, heat press, digital press, bindery)
  • Team player with a positive attitude

What This Job Is NOT

  • Not a “sit at a desk and design all day” role
  • Not heavy creative design from scratch
  • This is a hands-on production + light design support role

Why Work With Us

  • Fast-growing, high-energy print shop
  • Learn multiple skills (design + production)
  • Work with a strong team known for quality and customer service
  • Opportunity to grow with the company

Qualifications

  • Design or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role is preferred
  • A strong portfolio of published works
  • Skilled in InDesign, Illustrator, and other design software
  • Highly creative with an eye for detail
