Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care to the detention adult patient population. Outpatient clinic is open Sunday through Saturday.
Schedule: Sunday- Saturday 6pm-10pm
(_ if you can not commit to 7 days a week we can break this up into multiple positions. Still apply if you can only commit to 3 or 4 days_)
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Educate patients and their families on health management
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Provide compassionate care to patients with diverse needs and conditions
Qualifications:
- Current LPN license in the state of practice
- Experience working in Corrections a plus
- Ability to phlebotomize and perform basic laboratory tests
- Knowledge of internal medicine, behavioral health, and home/community care settings is advantageous
