• Monday – Sunday (rotating schedule)

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse – Medical / Surgical (Med-Surg) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients with a wide range of acute and post-surgical conditions. This role involves patient assessment, treatment, monitoring, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes.

Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for medical and surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide post-operative care and patient education

Clinical Operations

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Follow hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care

Collaboration

• Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Communicate patient status and care updates effectively

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience
• AHA Certifications Required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
