Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an early childhood school in Wilkes Barre, PA, to cover maternity leaves and provide support to itinerant students in neighboring areas. The contract position is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through August 7, 2026, with potential for part-time candidates to be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services tailored to early childhood populations within school settings
- Provide direct therapy and support for students with diverse speech and language needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state guidelines
- Travel locally to support itinerant students in the Dunmore, PA area during the spring
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license required
- Proven experience in school-based speech-language pathology settings
- Ability to obtain and maintain required Pennsylvania clearances
- Reliable transportation to support onsite work and travel between locations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable with Zoom interviews for initial screening
