Job DescriptionLHH is working with a company in the client services industry that is searching for a temporary to hire Accounting Specialist. This individual will be on a small accounting team and responsible for all the AP and AR work in the department. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of accounting experience and be excited to manage their department independently. There is opportunity for this accounting professional to create or improve on current processes on the team. If you had strong analytical or reporting skills, that would be a plus. This position is fully onsite in Bellevue, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure financial data integrity.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and financial reporting.
  • Prepare, review, and submit invoices to clients and vendors.
  • Monitor and resolve discrepancies in billing and payments.
  • Support payroll processing and related reconciliations as needed.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and answer accounting-related inquiries.
  • Assist with audits by preparing required documents and responding to auditor requests.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant laws or regulations.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Employment Details

  • Temporary to hire.
  • Fully onsite in Bellevue, WA.
  • Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.



Pay Details: $33.00 to $37.00 per hour
