Job DescriptionIncentive Bonus: Apply by December 1st and receive a $200 bonus after completing a minimum of six months of employment.
DUTIES:
- Implement activities programs for Residents; focus on individual interests
- Work directly with Residents on units; without direct supervision
- Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as requested
- Assist recreation specialists & set up program areas as needed
- Keep daily attendance and document residents' participation in activities
- Assist residents to program location and return residents to appropriate units
- Be familiar with established emergency procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
- Positive attitude and energy are a must!
- MUST have prior long term care experience.
- Previous experience with a geriatric population preferred
- Strong computer skills necessary
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Strong organizational & planning skills; ability to multi-task
Salary range $17.00/hour-$18.00/hour

As an Activity Aide you'll be part of a collaborative team responsible for managing the activity program for the nursing home residents. The ideal candidate possesses great communication skills, enjoys working with people, and is comfortable on off-site outings. This position is vital to ensuring residents have an ideal activity program.
