Responsibilities of the HR and Safety Coordinator

· Compliance Oversight: Ensure facilities remain compliant with California state laws (including OSHA, CAL/OSHA), HR practices and safety regulations

· Safety Coordination: Collaborate with safety teams to conduct safety audits, track incident reports, and assist in the implementation of corrective actions

· Training & Audit: Assist with safety training programs and ensure the team is audit-ready at all times

· HR Support: Assist with performance tracking and compliance measures

· Document & Records Management: Maintain safety training records and binders to ensure 100% compliance and ensure accuracy in all data entry software

· Field Collaboration & Support: Travel up to 60% may be required for the role to various facilities to assess operations, collaborate with field managers, and ensure adherence to compliance standards per State and Federal guidelines.

Requirements of the HR and Safety Coordinator

· Proficiency in MS office and workplace technology

· Strong organizational and communication skills

· Knowledge of HR processes and a commitment to ethical practices

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay detail-oriented

· Experience or interest in safety/compliance processes required

· Ability to travel up to 60%

· Must be able to work in a safety-sensitive environment

· Bilingual in Spanish is Required
