Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position focuses on supporting high school and middle school students within a full-time (3.0 FTE) capacity for the entire school year. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting instructional strategies as needed to maximize learning outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal special education regulations
- Support positive behavioral interventions and create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential for K-12 or appropriate California certification
- Experience working with students in middle and high school settings with Mild/Moderate disabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Ability to differentiate instruction and manage a diverse classroom environment
