Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary school students for the remainder of the school year. This role involves providing essential speech and language services across multiple school sites in the Lees Summit area, with the potential for renewal into the following academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to elementary students on a diverse caseload.
- Travel itinerantly between 2-3 school locations to meet the needs of students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create and implement effective intervention plans.
- Conduct evaluations and progress assessments to monitor student development.
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with district and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and work independently across multiple sites.
