Job Description:

The Warehouse Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and team supervision. The Warehouse Lead will implement best practices to optimize workflow and maintain safety standards, ultimately contributing to the overall productivity of the organization. This role requires strong leadership skills to motivate and guide a diverse team while fostering a collaborative work environment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in achieving operational goals and enhancing customer satisfaction through timely and accurate deliveries.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Lead, mentor and manage warehouse staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage inventory levels, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to improve workflow and reduce errors.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and support for operational needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
  • Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment.
  • Able to reach, bend, lift, pull and push up to 75lbs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business and environmental conditions
