Fluoroscopy Tech – Irving, TX

\n

\n

We are seeking an experienced Fluoroscopy Tech for a 11-week contract assignment in Irving, TX. This opportunity is ideal for technologists with operating room and spine experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment supporting a busy facility with heavy ortho spine, total joints, pain injections, urology and hand and foot fractures.

Spine experience is a must. 5 shifts per week with call every third week, sharing with two full time tech. Hours can depend on the schedule. Some days come in later and stay later. Optional days to stay late when not on call.

  • Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Schedule: 5 weekday shifts per week

  • Guaranteed Hours: 20 hours per week
  • \n

  • Patient Population: Adults
  • \n

  • Specialties: Urology, Spine, Podiatry, Pain Management, Orthopedics
  • \n

  • Fluoroscopy Equipment: C-Arm and Conventional Digital
  • \n

  • Scrubs: Provided
  • \n

Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Perform diagnostic fluoroscopic imaging procedures in the operating room.
  • \n

  • Operate C-Arm, Conventional Digital equipment safely and efficiently.
  • \n

  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and radiation protection.
  • \n

  • Assist physicians during orthopedic, spine, urology, and pain management procedures.
  • \n

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure imaging equipment is properly maintained and ready for use.
  • \n

  • Follow all facility policies and radiation safety standards.
  • \n

\n

Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Minimum of 1 year of Fluoroscopy Tech experience.
  • \n

  • Operating room and spine experience are required.
  • \n

  • Current ARRT (R) certification.
  • \n

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • \n

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • \n

  • Drug Screening.
  • \n

  • Background Check.
  • \n

  • Tuberculosis Screening.
  • \n

  • Radiology Tech Skills Assessment.
  • \n

  • Texas Radiology Technologist State Certification
  • \n
