Requirements:

  • A valid dental hygiene license in Illinois

  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current dental hygienist license in Illinois along with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required)
  • Thorough understanding of dental practices, hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience:

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • A desire to continue learning and enhancing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care
  • Ability to address clinical needs as required by the office

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to perform essential duties as required by the office or supervising doctor, with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally
  • Willingness to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
